Just when you think its all over...saw at least 15 Red admirals 3 on water of leith railway path and rest at botanic gardens, perfect time to visit. Also one u.f white and one beautiful comma. Hope no one minds if i also post my latest butterfly painting. great day.

Thank you. It is good to know that there are still a reasonable number of butterflies around. We have loads of Speckled Woods in East Lothian at the moment.

Bawsinch nature reserve yesterday 2 speckled woods in pristine condition
